SERVICE
Display advertising
Display is the cheapest reach money can buy, which is exactly why it is the easiest channel to waste. An impression without attention is not a result.
First plan in two weeks · No long contracts
Most banner advertising fails for the same reason: it is bought as reach rather than as purpose. When the metric is an impression, the output is impressions.
We use display for two things. Retargeting, where the audience is already warm, and holding awareness when demand is seasonal and you need to be in mind before the season.
What we do
- Retargeting for site visitors and abandoned baskets
- Targeting by topic and placement, not audience alone
- Exclusion lists, so the ad does not land in bad company
- Responsive and static banners running side by side
- Viewability tracked, not just impressions served
Who this fits
Display pays off when the site already has traffic worth reminding, or when the purchase is seasonal and demand has to be woken before the season.
It does not pay off as the only channel. Display supports others, it does not carry a campaign alone.
How we measure
- Viewability and attention time, not impressions
- Retargeting return reported separately
- Assisted conversions, so the role shows correctly
- Placement report and the share of waste

PROCESS
How a display campaign gets built
In display the biggest question is not who sees the ad but where it appears. Placement decides the result before creative does.
Account and measurement
Measurement and audiences set up. Display is a reach channel, so the metric has to recognise an assisted conversion or the channel reads as zero.
Structure and audiences
Exclusion lists first: apps, gaming sites and content categories the brand must not appear beside. Without them a large share of impressions is waste.
Creative and launch
A banner set in every size, and a message that works without a click. Most viewers never click, and the ad still has to do its job.
Optimisation and reporting
Placement lists opened every month, poor ones removed, and a frequency cap so one person does not see the ad thirty times.
WHAT WE TRACK
What the monthly report says
Viewability
how many impressions were actually visible
Frequency
how often one person saw it
Placements
the share of waste on the list
Assisted
conversions display took part in
WHEN WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS
Three situations where we say no
A small budget
Display needs volume to be cheap. On a small budget, search and Meta produce a measurable result and display produces neither.
When the measure is the click
A banner’s click rate is always low. Judged on clicks the channel is condemned by a metric that does not describe its job.
When placements stay hidden
We do not buy display without placement lists. If a partner will not say where the ad ran, it is not worth paying for.
FAQ
Frequently asked about display advertising
Does display still work?+
It works as retargeting and for maintaining awareness, not as a cold sales channel. Most bad experiences come from measuring it as though it were search.
How do I know where my ads appeared?+
From the placement lists we deliver monthly. They are also the tool that removes waste: poor sites onto the exclusion list and the budget elsewhere.
Whose name is the ad account in?+
Always the client’s. We build the campaigns in your own account, so the data and the history stay with you after the work ends.
Do you have a display case study?+
We have not published one, so there is no reference on this page. Another channel’s results are not evidence for this one.
